Data-Video Wall Applications
The Horizon-4 displays the Windows®
desktop across four monitors, extending your work area, but only occupies one
slot in your PC.
Essentially, four graphics cards in one, the Horizon-4 has four independent S3
Savage 4 chips and four separate banks of 8MBytes of SGRAM - one per display
channel - to bring superb image quality at high resolution and colour depths.
With a top resolution of 1600 x 1200 64k Colour per screen you can be sure of
displaying all the applications you need. If you need more screens, then you
can simply install another Horizon card in your machine.
The Horizon 4VW-DIG has all the features
of the Horizon 4VW-PRO with the addition of a direct digital video bus for
interfacing to the Mosaic
overlay card. The Mosaic Card, combined with the Horizon 4VW-DIG enables
up to 9 video overlays to be displayed simultaneously allowing each overlay
window to be positioned and sized anywhere across the 4 screens, windows may
also overlap.
For applications that require more than 9
windows, a second Mosaic card can be installed enabling 18 overlay windows to
be displayed. Alternatively, the Horizon 4VW-DIG can be used with the
ReelTime2 MPEG card. The direct digital connection ensures high quality video
images from the MPEG decoders. The Horizon 4VW-DIG supports up to 2 ReelTime2
cards allowing upto 4 MPEG playback channels.
